2020年中秋節後，有天甜點設計師Daphne的阿爸突然對著她說，市售牛軋糖好貴，而且變得好難吃，連一些每到過年他都要買的知名品牌，味道也變了。
為此，Daphne想著阿爸不愛吃甜點，最愛的就只有牛軋糖了，但隨著年紀增長，牙口也漸漸變差，總是希望能在阿爸想吃的時候，給他想吃的味道。
在經過一番測試後，Daphne終於找到阿爸說的最原始的味道，無任何添加物，純粹用水麥芽、糖、蛋白、奶油、奶粉和堅果完成了屬於阿爸心心念念的過年味。
